Meet the Mitchell Group Melissa Mitchell joined the Executive Search Division of the firm in January 2004 as Recruiting Manager, reporting to the President, CEO and Company Founder, Ken Mitchell. Most recently, Ms. Mitchell held a senior position with a nationwide healthcare recruiting firm based in Florida. Prior to her relocation to Florida, Ms. Mitchell was a Senior Recruiter for Headway Corporation of NY, filling technology positions in the healthcare industry, and for Gainor, where she concentrated on Wall Street-specific technology staffing assignments. Melissa Mitchell also has extensive experience in marketing and public relations. She was a Senior Account Executive/Senior Trainer for Bridge Information Systems (now a Reuters subsidiary) for whom she managed the account relationships with such clients as Lehman Brothers, Merrill Lynch, the NYSE and Goldman Sachs. She was also a Marketing Associate/Sales Associate at MDC Inc., Market Data Corporation, a sister company to Cantor Fitzgerald. Ms. Mitchell earned her B.A. in psychology from Hofstra University and is on the boards of several charities and humane societies.
